Bio

Do you have a story to tell?

During my 17 years as a writer and editor at Phoenix Jewish News, my work ranged from news and feature articles to columns (they started as singles columns and then they became parenting columns in later years). Since then, I’ve also written for Gilbert Sun News, Lovin’ Life After 50, Scottsdale Nearby News and Scottsdale Airpark News. My work has appeared in the Los Angeles Jewish Journal, the New Jersey Jewish Standard, North Valley Magazine, the Jerusalem Report and the St. Louis Jewish Light, as well as on interfaithfamily.com. I am currently the director of communications at the East Valley JCC in Chandler, Ariz.

My experience also includes blog posts, web content, content strategy, copywriting, editing, ghostwriting, newsletters, social media and press releases. I enjoy helping businesses,  organizations and creatives communicate with their audiences and share their stories with their community.

When I’m not sitting at the computer writing, I’m likely in the process of writing a song or planning adventures with my husband and three sons (and two dogs), which I write about on my  “A Medley of Moments” blog.

If I can help you tell your story, please be in touch!

Leisah

“I called Leisah for some PR help since we are a small agency and don’t have that expertise on staff. With her knowledge of the Jewish community and our agency, she was able to listen to my request and quickly turn around a press release that captured exactly what I wanted to say.”
