For over two decades, I’ve been a professional storyteller. My writing career began in a newsroom, where I spent 17 years at Phoenix Jewish News, writing everything from breaking news to personal columns. That experience taught me how to find the heart of a story and tell it with clarity and impact.
Today, I serve as the director of communications at the East Valley JCC, where I oversee strategic messaging, content and community engagement. Throughout my career, I’ve worked across nearly every corner of the written word, from long-form journalism and essays to copywriting, press releases and editorial strategy.
This website serves as an archive and showcase of my published work and personal writing. While my freelance practice is currently closed to new commercial or marketing clients, I always welcome connections with fellow writers, editors and community members.
In 2021, I published “52 Weeks in 2021: A Songwriting Journey,” a book and audio project documenting 52 original songs shared over 52 weeks during the year I turned 52. When I’m not sitting at the computer writing, I’m likely in the process of writing a song or planning adventures with my husband and three sons (and two dogs).
